JUSTENE WILLIAMS / PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND SCULPTURE
Justene Williams is an Australian artist. Williams works across different media including photography, video, performance, installation and sound.
Williams has exhibited widely throughout Australia and internationally. Her works of art are held in a number of public collections including Art Gallery of New South Wales, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, National Gallery of Australia and Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.
EDWINA MCLENNAN / TEXTILE ARTISTS
Edwina McLennan is a Brisbane based visual artist working with mixed media, textiles, painting, installation and soft sculpture.
Her practice is informed by her prior training and experience in fashion and textile design.
Her work explores the materiality of new media and the screen via haptic surfaces as a means of investigating the material conditions which inform our experience of consumer culture.
As the physical and digital realms of everyday life are becoming more intertwined with the commonplace of the screen, her practice seeks to uncover the threads which interweave the digital and the virtual.

Martin Smith's upbringing in Brisbane's bayside suburbs, compounded by a speech impediment, deeply influenced his art. Silent observation during his teenage years, driven by embarrassment, shaped his exploration into language and representation. Through blended storytelling and vernacular photography, Martin crafts compositions where text punctuates visual landscapes, inviting subjective interpretation. His work explores the convergence of narrative devices, challenging conventional notions of identity construction.
From glued letters forming enigmatic figures to stand-up comedy routines blending humor with introspection, Martin invites us to reconsider the stories shaping our experiences.
DANA LAWRIE / VISUAL ARTIST
Dana Lawrie is a Brisbane-based artist working within expanded notions of self-portraiture. Her work abstractly revers the importance of personal ritual and excessive inward reflection when considering the power and sadness in acknowledging impermanence.
Dana completed an honours degree at Queensland College of Art and undertook a scholarship exchange at Edinburgh College of Art. Her work is held in institutional collections, including Museum of Brisbane, as well as private collections.
